Presented by Professor Norma Raynes and Sue Mosco, who have developed this innovative approach to addressing the needs of older and younger people.
- Our schools are expected to continuously improve the education experience, achieve better numeracy and literacy results with rising costs and constrained budgets.
- Our senior citizens are living longer, and more often without close family in our more mobile times, and the social care budget is proving increasing inadequate.
FG2G provides a local approach for the two groups to cooperate together and provide solutions to reduce the stress on resources and enhance the lives of teaching staff, pupils and older people. The Intergen Way is one example of this working well with primary and secondary schools.
Tea/coffee and bagels available from 10.30am.
