Menorah’s community get-together for all ages returns to beautiful Hartington Hall in the heart of the Peak District.
Join us for the third Menorah Weekender – round off your summer and take a breath of fresh air before the High Holy Days. Weekender provides something for everyone – a schedule of events and activities as diverse as our Menorah family, but also with plenty of time to gather and chat in beautiful surroundings. The amazing Shonaleigh, possibly the last Drut’syla, (traditional Jewish storyteller), will be headlining a great list of session leaders for the weekend, including Helen Conway (judge and storyteller), Liz Kessler (author), MAD and Dead Recipe Society, which has become a popular feature of the weekend.
We can’t guarantee the weather, but we can guarantee a warm coming together of progressive Jews for a wonderful weekend. We hope it will be a highlight of the year! As usual, there will also be a fun and exciting Youth Programme run by Menorah’s new Youth Partner, Tom Beckett.
At a maximum cost of £159 per adult, this is excellent value for 2 days and 2 nights in a fabulous venue, with all food and activities paid for. For under-18s and students it’s just £59 and, as always, under-13s go for free. The option of spreading the cost has been extended to applications received by 20 May – contact us for the details.
Hartington Hall is a beautiful 17th Century manor house with a variety of accommodation options ranging from luxury double rooms, through family rooms to single sex dorms. We encourage you to book early to get the best chance of your preferred choice.
