Siddur and Modern Hebrew

Would you like to read Hebrew or to improve your understanding of the prayer book?

Our Wednesday evening classes offer the opportunity for you to learn to read and understand the Siddur and Tanakh (Torah, Prophets and Writings – the core Jewish texts).

We offer classes for all abilities from complete beginners through to those wishing to translate Tanakh.

In addition we offer an introduction to Modern Hebrew classes: learn basic phrases, vocabulary and grammar.  A prerequisite is some familiarity with Hebrew reading.

Classes are one-to-one via Zoom (by arrangement with Ann:  ) or at Menorah on Wednesdays 19:30 – 20:15

Autumn term 2021 dates:  September 22, 29; October 6, 13, 20; November 3, 10, 17, 24; December 1, 8

If you are not currently enrolled in a class and wish to take the opportunity of being at home to improve your Siddur Hebrew reading and understanding, or you wish to volunteer as an online tutor, please contact Ann.
