Menorah’s Social Committee stages several fund-raising events each year. Committee members meet regularly throughout the year to formulate and review the events list for the year and to arrange the (many!) specifics for each event. Additionally, we have a large number of people who are happy to volunteer their help with a specific event when asked. Over the years we have organised Chanukah Fairs, quizzes, garden parties, summer fairs, Burns Nights, and concerts, you name it…
Our next event is an Artisan Market on Sunday 10th December, starting at 11am – lots of different, exciting stalls selling everything from bread and jams to clothes to jewellery. Lots of delicious homemade filled bagels too!
Make a note in your diaries: on Sunday 11th February 2018 we will be holding an Auction at Menorah, where you will be able to bid for some fabulous items. More details to be announced soon!
We are an informal group, always willing to receive new ideas for events and looking for new people to join the committee and its team of volunteers. If you feel you have something to offer, or would just like to lend a helping hand sometimes, please email
