Support from Menorah during the Covid-19 pandemic

Menorah is offering support to anyone who is self-isolating or simply struggling with things while times are so strange. We can help by:

  • Doing shopping for food or urgent supplies e.g. picking up medication
  • Taking urgent mail to a post box
  • Making someone available by phone for a chat

Everything will be done without face-to-face contact, in line with social distancing guidelines.

If you need help, or know of someone who does, please email us at  or call the office on 0161 428 7746 and leave a message. All messages left on the answer machine will be picked up and actioned. However you contact us, please give us an idea of what you need, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. If you’d like to be added to our list of volunteers providing the support, please send an email to the same address.

Do you need a fabric mask? We have a wonderful group of volunteers who have been busy sewing non-medical fabric masks. If anyone would like some, please email
We can drop them off to you if needed. Please be aware that these are home-made, and we’d recommend they are washed on a high temperature before use.  Any face covering should be worn in line with government guidelines: www.gov.uk/staying-safe-outside-your-home
