Menorah’s multi-faith choral extravaganza by Zoom on 30 January 2021

This was our seventh annual choral extravaganza. The Synagogue building had been closed for months because of Covid-19, and we were all practising social-distancing. But we came together with our lovely guests for a presentation by Zoom shared with an audience of about 500 watching on more than 300 screens in many different countries.
Some of our solo singing was live on the night, some of the items were videos of previous live performances in various locations, and a few items were “lockdown recordings”: video collages that had been stitched together from individual solo recordings.
We all had a fantastic time and hopefully extended the joy of music and singing ‘together’ to hundreds of people around the world.
… and we raised a lot of money to support the wonderful work of the Wythenshawe Food Bank.
You can watch and listen again to any or all of the items in our programme – just click on the upper half of any of the pictures below. Enjoy!
