Just as a young woman is about to marry her love, the entire village discovers her sleeping in the house of a stranger.  The suspicions of infidelity drive the jealous fiancé to break off the engagement.  It takes two acts for him to realise that sleepwalking is the true culprit behind the misunderstanding.
