LGBTQ+ Inclusion statement

Menorah is a welcoming and inclusive community and we aim to ensure that our policies and practices fully enable participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and other gender non-conforming members and their families.

We will ensure that LGBTQ+ members are welcome and able to participate in our religious practices and in the entire community life of the congregation, including the range of lifecycle rituals and ceremonies, making sure that appropriate inclusive forms of liturgy are available as required.

Menorah is committed to making our educational and youth programmes a welcoming and safe environment for ALL children and young people. We will provide inclusive education that embraces the diversity of relationships and identities and teach our young people to actively champion our values of social justice.

As a community we celebrate the diversity of human experience and undertake to listen and learn to continue to reflect our progressive Jewish vision both within our community and in the wider world.

IT TAKES A TEAM....

Every one at Menorah is an important part of the part of the family. Here are a just a few of the people who make our community work whether by serving on the Board, leading group activities or helping with our social care and education.
